I have upgraded the iPhone Arlo app to the latest version.

I cannot figure out how to temporarily pause a camera without putting all cameras on Standby. If I am mowing the lawn in the back yard, I want the front of the house cameras to stay enabled while the camera pointing to the back yard to be temporarily. I don't want to have to put my whole property into Standby mode. And I don't want a bunch of alerts letting me know I am mowing the lawn. What am I missing?

The simplest way is to

  1. go to the devices page
  2. select the camera
  3. press the settings wheel
  4. turn the camera off (or on)

Another option is to disable motion sensitivity in your modes and rules for the camera.

Thank you for the reply. Arlo, there should be 1 step to pause a camera as opposed to 3 clicks. That is a terrible UX.

How does one disable the motion sensitivity?

Edit the camera rule in the mode you are using.

Or change the motion sensitivity in the default mode settings
