I have a hub with USB storage for local surveillance, and I have multiple cameras where is only the pro 4 says it’s still connected to a plan but I have discontinued this in Arlo cloud. they say that they are connected to the hub in the information section but I can still not view local footage in the app. it says I need a premium plan to view footage from the pro 4 cameras.
anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have a VMB4540 or a VMB5000 smarthub?
Those are the only two hubs that support direct access to local recordings.

i have vmb4000r3
and I disagree with you comment that this is not supporting local playback of recordings.
i have
2 x Pro 1
3 x Pro 4
2 x Essential Spotlight
now only the Pro 1’s are working with local storage. why is that ?
I had also local storage of the other cameras that I couls playback from hub before but not any more ??

Well, you are wrong. The legacy Pro cameras were sold with 7-day cloud storage. Your other cameras were not sold with that feature, and require a subscription for cloud storage. The recordings you see in the app and my.arlo.com are in the Arlo Cloud. This is easy to confirm. Just remove the storage, and you will still see recordings from the Pro cameras. But do eject the storage from the app - not doing that can result in your needed to "repair" the storage on the PC.
The ONLY way to see local recordings with the VMB4000 is to eject the storage from the app and then connect it to a PC. Then browse the USB drive there. While a VMB4540 or VMB5000 smarthub would let you see local recordings in the app, there are a lot of limitations. So if you are considering that, the post back and we can give you more details.
