  • View live streams from your camera

Just recently, I am having trouble with my “friends” being able to access live streams and recordings.

You need a subscription for them to be able to access recordings.

Are you saying that they used to be able to livestream, but can't do it now?  Or is this something new that you are trying to get to work?

This is a new issue.  I am not able to  see do a live look in for devices that I granted access too.

  1. Does your app have a menu option for "Library"?  Or does it instead say "Feed" and "Dashboard"?
  2. Similarly, what options are your friends seeing?

Also

  • Does your account show the invites as accepted?  Or are they pending?

1.  Yes, my account has library and allows me to access cameras, not just notifications.

2.   In terms of the household members that I have granted access too, displays “dashboard” and “feed.”

They will only see the videos if you migrate your account to "feed".

You do this by "add device", and then add a (non-existent) Pro 5s camera or the home security system.  That will fail of course, but you will be migrated to "feed" in the process.

Note there are some bugs (and some annoying restrictions) in "feed", and you cannot migrate back to "library" if you don't like it.

Also, once migrated, the guest must click on Home at the top and choose the bottom choice. Each user gets their own Home location so the guest has to select yours to see your camera. I suggest renaming at least your Home to something that makes it obvious what to choose.

Thank you for the suggestions. Still having issues with getting the migration to work on my spouses phone. Again, this is a brand new issue. Worked seamlessly before.   On my device it is showing that the incite has not been accepted for my wife. I have repeated this process several times. My own device continues to function without issue.

Try migrating accounts using a computer browser pointed to my.arlo.com. Also, use the browser to accept the invitation using the emailed link.

I will try this. I have been using an IPad or iPhone to accept invites.  I’ll keep you posted. Thank you

Ok, I used the browser to accept the invite.  The invite has been accepted on my end. The alerts or the feeds are still not showing up on my spouses iPhone.

Did you migrate your account to feed (as we've said a couple times is also necessary)?
