Will a GigaSpire GS4220e router work with Arlo Pro 4? If not, can I attach a Arlo Smart Hud to that router for the Arlo Pro 4 Cameras?

Not a router I use, but it should work. You do want to make sure the WiFi security is set to WPA2 (AES) and not WPA3.
The smarthubs use fast ethernet (100 megabits). The GigaSpire has multigig ethernet ports, but says they are compatible with fast ethernet. (BTW, some multigig ethernet cards have dropped 10/100 ethernet support). If that turned out to be a problem with a GigaSpire, then you could easily work around it by adding an inexpensive gigabit switch (you can find suitable ones for about $25 USD).
