Failed to add arlo pro 4

I've got a arlo pro 4 cam these days, but failed to add it to Arlo App. After scanning the QR code, I can hear a chime sound successfully, but the led on the camera just flash blue for around 5 times and then stop.  And the app always shows a failure page. What should I do to fix the problem?

Make sure the phone is connected to your home wifi.  You could also try adding it from a PC (my.arlo.com).  

 

Also, make sure

  • any VPN software is turned off during installation. 
  • the wifi network is set to WPA2 (AES) security.

Hi, 

I double checked that the Wi-Fi I used is WPA2 security, and I make sure my app is at the same Wi-Fi as the arlo camera. And there is no VPN running during the flow. I also tried the my.arlo.com as well but all not work. Anything else I can try?

After the chime, does the camera show up on your router's attached device list?

 

Also, is this a new camera?  Or did you purchase a used one?
