Doing a healtch check via REST

Hello,

Since my cameras is going offline from time to time and the app aitn telling me so, do any one know if there is a way to perfome a healch check call against the cameras?
I know i could ping then but would be nice to use a dedicated wahy intended for doing this, like a rest call towards a healt endpint.

In this whay i could create my own service/program for checking and allerting the status of my cammeras.
