My dog ate the power cable for my hub, where do i get a new one or what are they called so i can google them?

They are called power adapters. I'd start by contacting support (use the link at the top of the forum page), and see if they can arrange something.
They aren't sold separately, but there are third party chargers that can be substituted. You need to find one that has the correct voltage and amperage (12 v, 1.5a). The harder part is finding one with a plug that fits, and also has the correct polarity.
Perhaps some other poster who's needed to purchase one will give you a recommendation.
