Disable Notifications without Disabling Cameras

This seems to be a common thread, so I'm adding my concern with an apparent 'update' on the software.
There is currently no way of allowing continual recording of my workplace but silencing notifications via automation. I understand that i can manually disable notifications for a set time, but this simple function should be able to be integrated into an automated recording mode.
Please consider this as an urgent update, as i am sure i am not the only one disgruntled by this lack of flexibility.

Continuous recording requires 1) AC power applied to the camera and 2) a CVR (continuous video recording) subscription. This recording does not cause notifications of any sort.
To disable any notifications for detected recordings, edit your modes and rules. If you are using the new user interface (UI), be sure to click on the embedded link near the top in the following FAQ:
