I have now had a second Arlo 4 Pro XL battery case charging contact with corrosion which prevents the charging of the battery. I have carefully cleaned the corrosion with vinegar and a light abrasive. The copper looks a lot shinier, but it still does not consistently charge. I don't need a new battery, but it looks like the only way to get a new battery case is to get a battery and case. Does anyone have any other suggestions? 20240721_174003.jpg

Thank you

Unfortunately Arlo doesn't sell the XL housing separately.  They really should.

Another option is to get a standalone charger:

How about a regular housing? Otherwise it's almost more economical to buy a new upgraded camera with sale going on.

It is sad that a device that is made for the outside has a corrosion issue has no inexpensive way to correct the issue.

That of course would work if you still have the standard size battery.
