When I try seeing how to change my payment method, everything I google says to go to my.arlo.com and go to the drop down menu and select "My Arlo Account" , but there IS NO drop down menu! There is no option to view my payment method or to change it. There is nothing that says anything about managing my account information. What the heck am I missing?! I've never gotten on to anything else except my.arlo.com and any other url i try using is not what I'm looking for.

Do you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" in the app?  Or do you see "Library" instead?

negative, because I have been using my desktop. Is that my problem?

The desktop web site shows essentially the same thing as the app. We still need to know which interface you're using - the old one with Library to view recordings or the new one with Feed.

it doesn't show any of those options.

The top icons are:

Arlo> Devices> Library > Mode >Settings

I wish someone would just call me and get this **bleep** taken care of. You guys have really bad resources when it comes to support.

So you have the older UI.  FWIW, my screenshot was made on my PC (unfortunately I am using the newer "Feed" user interface, so my screenshot won't help you).

 

These instructions might help:

 

To change your Arlo subscription plan:

  1. Log in to my.arlo.com
  2. Click Settings > Subscription.
  3. Click Change Plan next to the Arlo plan you want to change

I don't remember if the payment method is in Setting->Subscription, or whether you need to "change plan" to see the payment method.  But it is in that area.

It sounds like you might be missing some options. Please visit the Arlo support page or their account management section for updated instructions. If the issue persists, contacting Arlo customer support might help.
