Have a camera mounted high up in a tree with solar panel. Stays at 100% during the winter when the leaves are gone, but doesn't get enough charge during the summer when the sun's blocked.
If I have a high wattage power bank and long enough wire to the ground, can I charge the camera remotely instead of grabbing the ladder and swapping batteries 3 or 4 times until the next winter?

Getting the XL upgrade package (and sticking with the panel) might be a better path (and is what I did myself with my own Ultra). Note that XL housing can't be used with the magnetic mounts.
The challenge with the power bank is that the camera might think it is connected to an AC charger. If it thinks it is hard-wired, it will kick into a higher power mode - and that will actually drain power more quickly.
