My porch camera seems to work only sometimes but not all the time.
For example, my wife picks up our daughter at the bus stop and I usually see them walk into the house around 4pm.
The porch camera always detects this but recently, a lot of times the camera does not detect it.
So basically, my porch camera only works intermittently now.
I checked for firm ware updates and there are none.
Any suggestions?
Maybe clean the exterior of the camera around the lense?
Thanks

Are you using any activity zones? WHat is the motion sensitivity set to in your modes and rules?

I am using activity zones.
I actually made it closer to hopefully capture the area better to see if that works
Where do I find the motion sensitivity?

The detection range is spec'd as "up to 25 feet". From my experience, actual range depends on the details - how large the object is, temperature, whether the motion is towards the camera, or across the field of view, etc.

Thanks.
I will adjust the that.
Do you think if that does not work, I should remove the camera and then re-install it from scratch?

That sometimes will resolve problems, so it would be worth a try.

I increased the Activity Zone and the sensitivity.
So far it seems to be working much better.
Will keep you posted.
Thanks
