On arlo pro 4 cams: is it best to have it ON or OFF. [the AUTO ZOOM AND TRACKING] Please Help  THANKS AND  SEMPER FI!

Not sure there is a "best".

 

I leave it off on my cameras.  I can always zoom in during playback, and I do like to see the full field of view.
