excuse my mess…60 different projects going on.  So I purchased 3 mounts from Wasserstein for my Arlo pro 4.   I have had great luck w Wasserstein products.  However the bolt on the mount doesn’t fit any aperture in the pro 4.   The screw/bolt from the existing mount is much larger.   Arlo’s site doesn’t mention the bolt size.   However everything I read indicates 1/4” 20.   What am I missing?

I suspect you have the "total security mount".

If that is the case, you need to get a new housing.

Thank you.  That is exactly what is going on!   Seems like that info should be a tad easier to find.   I have 13 Pro4’s and they all have the same housing so I didn’t realize the difference.

I agree.

FWIW, the newest Pro and Ultra cameras (Pro 6 and Ultra Gen 3) don't support your mounts, so it is possible Arlo is phasing them out.

@JamesC:  The compatible device list for the AntiTheft mount is very confusing, particularly for the Ultra (since it just lists a bunch of skus, you can't really see that the Gen 3 is not compatible).  It should say Ultra 1 and Ultra 2.  It should also list the Pro 3 and Pro 5s, since both of those models are compatible with the mount.

FWIW, it would be helpful if there was a KB article that listed the cameras by name, with all the skus for each.

@StephenB

They are def phasing out anything related to the earlier models.   Ouch- the cost of the housing just isn’t worth it.   One of the mount bases broke and they don’t sell just that part so basically my device is essentially bricked unless I Jerry rig something.   I get driving folks to ongoing purchases but they are getting my subscription $$ every month.   IMO it is a mistake to not provide ongoing support for older products.   I have 4 pros and one Q that are 12 years old and still marching along and are just fine for my purposes.    (Monitoring my animal coops and pens).    I have been a loyal Arlo customer for 12 years (23 cameras in all as I have a large property and an Airbnb on it so makes it so much easier to keep tabs on things) but I am starting to feel rumblings of discontent in my gut.

 EOL cameras for sure, and it wouldn't surprise me if that list gets larger.

FWIW, there were quite a few negative comments on the anti-theft mount.  While Arlo might create a variant for the Pro 6 and Ultra 3, they could also just let it go in favor of standard mount compatibility.
