So I have seeral Arlo PRO 4 cameras. They are all hooked to the base station ,. I have recently added a large wifi mesh to my property they extends out really far. I know that the Pro 4 is able to both hook to the base or hook directly to wifi. I realize there are some added bonuses to haveing them hooked to the base. My question is which would give me more distance? My wifi is going to reach out furthur than my base signal would. If I hook it to the base and set it in wifi range will it still work or will that limit the distance? Would it be best to just skip the base and hook directly to Wifi so I can get maximum distance. To give you an idea I have over 8 acres. Almost 5 of that is under the Wifi mesh now.
I hope this makes sense and look forward to all your input.
Thank you.

The mesh. The closed wifi in the base has the about the same range as a traditional router.
