Product Name: Solar Panel (VMA5600) Question: I have 2 Arlo Pro 4 cameras. They work fine. Bought two Arlo solar panels. They have not charged at all, despite direct sunlight during the day for 3 straight days. I have cleaned the connection points with alcohol. I have restarted the cameras with the app. I have removed the batteries and replaced them. I have disonnected the solar panels and reconnected them multiple times. Nothing works.

Tried the Chat feature for help.  Useless.  No one ever responded (30 minutes now and counting...).

Hoping someone can help!

Is there a sun icon or additional icon next to the battery icon when you plug in the solar panels?

Unfortunately, no. The top and bottom feeds are the 2 cameras connected to the solar panels (see image).

I see one solar panel charging at the moment. Can you Private message me with the last 4 of the serial numbers of the affected cameras so I can look in to this further

When and where did you purchase the solar panel, Can you verify the SKU number? Is it the VMA7600?

I see that you have six cameras onboarded to your account that are Pro 4. Do these solar panels charge any of the other devices by chance?

No. Only the 2 I indicated are ones that have issues.

If these are the only two with solar panels, then try swapping the cameras with two of the others and see if the problems resolve.

I wish it was that simple. The three cameras with working solar chargers at my mom's 3 hours away. Any other suggestions?

You could try a factory reset on one camera.

  1. remove it from the account
  2. open the housing
  3. press the sync button inside until the camera LED flashes amber (~15 sec)
  4. add the camera back to the account

No guarantees it will help, but it might.

I'll try that. Thanks SO much for your help!
