At home I have the Arlo Smart Hub (VMB5000r6) with 2 Arlo Ultra 2.  I recently purchased the Costco Arlo Pro 4 XL bundle (3x Pro 4 and 1x Smart Hub (VMB4540)to add to my setup.  The plan is to add the three cameras to the active smart hub (VMB5000r6) and have the new hub as a backup.  

 

Problem: My hub(s) cannot find the new cameras.

 

I have done the following to troubleshoot the issue. (Arlo dashboard - mobile/Mac OS)

1) Reset my current hub.

2) Factory Reset Pro 4 camera.

3) Attach Pro 4 to WiFi. - Pass

4) Attach Pro 4 to Smart Hub (VMB4540 w/updated firmware) - Fail

5) Factory Reset and attach to Smart Hub. - Pass

6) Exchanged Arlo Bundle at Costco.  - Same results

I can see the cameras were onboarded to your account. Did you still need some assistance?

Thank you!  I finally got the Pro 4 cameras connected to my VMB5000. Is till can’t get them connected to the new VMB4540, but I’m okay with that.

That is mostly good news : )

 

Are you removing the cameras from the VMB5000 before adding to the VMV4540?

 

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have performed so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.

 

I'm sure we can get this resolved if you want to tackle it.
