Arlo Pro 4 Wireless Security Camera Model VMC4041P Battery is in. I just don't need these cameras to be "on duty" at this time. They are in the den next to me while I work. The cameras make a clicking sound. Again, it's off. Visually, I see the red lights come on and off, like it's trying to come on, or trying to do something. This has happened before, and I just took the battery out. Problem solved, but then I have start over and pair them again, so I don't want to do that
(If they are not next to me, I probably would not hear this clicking sound)
The best way to describe is I get the feeling that the Off setting just turns off the recording, but it's still "on" in someways, sensing motion or sound.
What's the best way to turn off a camera not being in use? I don't mind the battery drain. I just don't want the cameras to "wear out" by working when they don't need to.
Any advice or suggestions? Or how to off the cameras the right way?

Removing the battery doesn't require pairing the camera again when it's replaced.
Have you tried removing the camera from your account and sync it back again with a reset?
