Hello - Own 4 Arlo Pro 4 cameras, and the VMB5000r5 base station. Base station has SD card in there. When I first set these up, I was getting all of my recordings because of the trial of the cloud storage. Now that the trial has expired, I don't see any recordings, BUT, I was under the impression these would record to the base station, and I'd be able to access via the app remotely, which is fine.
Cameras sense motion, I see the light come on and hear it tick when I test. Memory card is good. I've rebooted the base and cameras. Pulled batteries. Formatted the card.
Is it possible to do this or did I totally misread the capabilities? My old setup, the Arlo Pro 2

Have you set up Direct storage as per this link? Also you need a 16GB or greater SD card. If set up you would see Cloud at the top center of library and when you select it there will be an option to select Hub. You will not see a snapshot but a download icon for hub storage along with other limitations listed in the link.

Are you seeing the "Cloud" pull-down at the top of the library? If so, use that to choose your hub for local recordings.

I don't see anything, but of note, I'm immediately referencing the Android version of the app. The "Library" section shows me videos from the older cameras, up top I can choose other days, have a filter, and my hamburger settings menu (the dot dot dot) has just normal device settings.

That worked! I do very much wish for a preview of the image, but I'll settle. Thank you for that, took some fiddling with the router to port forward but all is well now. Apparently it's been recording all this time, I just couldn't see them in my library. Of course I could have taken out the memory card, but never would have thought to.
Thank you again for that suggestion and link, much appreciated.
