Hello,
I have great difficulty with getting the battery-camera complex out of the shell (sorry, I do not know the right terminology but I hope I am clear). I twist the key but the thing does not move. I have to pry it out using a knife, or my fingernail while with the other hand I keep the key turned. Very annoying. Is this a known issue, is there a way to deal with it?
I have 3 cameras, the other 2 are on a solar charger. (And if I may complain a bit here, I have to buy 3rd party chargers because the cables that come with the Arlo ones are way too short!)
Thanks.

Sounds like you have the "total security mount" - is that correct?
You could try lubricating the O-ring with some silicone grease.

Yes, in fact that is what I have. I will try the silicone grease. What about the feature that keeps a slider under pressure and is supposed to push the unit out of the shell? I can push it back manually and it comes back out when I test it. Can it go weak somehow, needing replacement?
