I have 6 Pro 4 XL cameras and 2 hubs (2 houses) in Texas
House/Hub 1 - Two Cameras
Everything working as it should
House/Hub 2 -Four Cameras
Camera 1 -Will not connect with hub. Will not charge. Alert in app says "Charge Battery". Slow Blinking amber LED
Camera 2 - Will not connect with hub. Will not charge. I removed device to re-pair, and will not pair. App message said "This device seems to be offline" before i removed from hub. Slow Blue Blinking LED
Camera 3 - Still Mounted and connected to hub. Can stream. I have not attempted to charge
Camera 4 - Connected to Hub. Can stream video. Will not charge.
I have tried removing batteries and putting them in different cameras, tried charging without battery, nothing seems to work.
These are about 8 months old. Purchased at Costco in 2022.
What's going on? What is the fix?

You obviously can't charge them without the battery. I'm guessing you are saying that you tried running the cameras on AC power w/o the batteries inserted. Would be useful to confirm that.
All your issues seem to be linked to charging.
- How many chargers do you have?
- If you have multiple chargers, are you using the same cable? Or different cables?
- If some of your cameras do charge, then what happens if you take a charged battery from one of those, and move it to one of the problem cameras?

- How many chargers do you have? 1 OEM Arlo Charger and Cable
- If you have multiple chargers, are you using the same cable? Or different cables? NA
- If some of your cameras do charge, then what happens if you take a charged battery from one of those, and move it to one of the problem cameras? I took a 46% charged battery from a working camera and put it in a non-working camera. No change, would not stream or connect to hub. I placed it back into the working camera, and was able to stream again, but battery would not charge in either camera.

I think the first thing you should do is get a working charger.
Personally I like the VMA5400C external charger (which will charge XL batteries, as well as the standard size).
If the cameras are hard to take down, then you could alternatively get the VMA5600 or VMA5601 outdoor charger. (The 5601 is black). These aren't just cables, they have an integrated charger.

You could also try another USB charger you have already - 5 volts, 2 amps or more. Use a different magnetic cable if you have one, as that could be the problem.
Once charging is sorted out, you can try doing a factory reset on one of the problem cameras
You could also try connecting one of your problem cameras to your home wifi (as a test), and see if that works. That would rule out some problem with the smarthub.
