Hello. We purchased and installed three Pro 4 security cams last year which have worked just fine the majority of the time. About a month ago we began having all kinds of issues.
First, they are now constantly detecting audio when we had that feature turned off previously. When I look at my dashboard I'll have over 800 alerts because every time the neighbors park their car or a dog barks or the wind blows strongly, the cams are recording it.
Next, around the same time one of the camera began having a problem where it will completely drain a full battery overnight. I load up a full battery in the morning and within 24 hours it is totally dead. I will add I have solar panels on all three of our Pro 4 cams and the other two do not have this particular problem.
I'm not sure if there was a defective firmware push or what, but these problems are really making things painful for us.

The first step is to disable audio detection in your modes and rules. That should help a lot.
Remember that solar panels are just trickle chargers so (basically) constant recordings will still kill the battery. Spec battery life is for <5 minutes total of recording and live viewing per day.

We have actually done this RE: turning off audio detection. The problem is it doesn't seem to be having any affect and they go on detecting it anyway.

Just to be clear, you're turning off audio detection in your modes and rules, not just turning off audio choices in the camera settings, correct? If so, you may want to try removing the camera from your account and add it back to see if that helps.
