If I am using the Arlo Pro 4 outdoors and use the magnetic charging cable for power, does the battery still need to be installed?
I currently have some Pro 2 cameras powered by the USB cable and don't need to have the battery installed, just want to know if the Pro 4's work the same. This would free up an extra battery for another camera.
Thanks,
Steve

They should work w/o the battery (same as the Pro 2 cameras).
But the batteries aren't the same as the ones in the Pro 2.
