Over the past 3 weeks, one of my cameras has had deteriorating picture quality. First they got an orange tint then a purple tint and silhouetted.

ARLO PRO 4 Camera

Gave up on phone support -----always going to escalate to higher level team who will get back to me --- they never do...simply fill out a ticket in their portal with KB articles about how to get support of run through the same troubleshooting steps that the last folks suggested....Wonder if they even read their own notes.

Chat support better...we run through the same steps...end up at same spot..... refer to higher team....ask me to wait a couple of minutes......then there is a message notification sent apologizing that we got cut off ( even though the chat is still on and I can close it but haven't yet)...and yes....the same articles....and question if i want to keep support ticket open if steps don't work.

FOLKS..... a good company responds. Replaces defective unit if it cannot fix it ...i.e. SERVES ITS CLIENTS. It doesn't play support merry go round.
.........
We have restarted the camera ---- more than 10 times
We have delinked (removed) and relinked it 3 times
We have moved it to within 3 ft of router
We have changed settings to BEST video
We have renamed it
We have cleared cache
We have deleted and reinstalled app ( don't know how that improves a picture quality....but well ARLO says it does)

I once had trouble with a Belkin conference camera. Called support to troubleshoot it 3 years after getting it. Their team run through troubleshooting and decided to replace the camera even when i asked them not to ...because I get it...stuff dies.
This camera is less than a year old...still in warranty......I wonder what happens when the warranty is over.

Anybody in this community can help??????

Would like to report that I tried once more to chat with support and got someone who responded and when we reviewed the case and troubleshooting steps spoke to her supervisor, promised to respond and I got an email response offering a replacement.

Restored some of my faith in the company.

Can you please dm me a callback number as well as a good time to call. That way I can have support look into this further. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.
