i recently did a firmware upgrade and my battery is draining from 99% to 0 in 3 days flat. anyone else has faced this? very concerned on how do we go about resolving this

Yes! I had the same experience and thought the battery is dying and therefore initiated the return process with Amazon. I've only had the camera for about a month and decided to get my money back and invest in another brand instead. Not really worth the price compared to the competition.

Reinserting the battery may well fix this. If not, remove and reconnect the camera from your account.
