wiring in an Arlo Essential Wireless Doorbell

I finally got around to wiring it in, even though it's wireless. I checked the wires and theres 12v coming in. Connected them to the terminals but I don't see any indication that it is wired, it just still shows battery with 92%.

I don't believe there is any indication that the doorbell is wired, just that the battery is (trickle) charged. I suppose the battery icon may show a lightning bolt but can't be sure since mine are not wired. If the doorbell gets heavy use, the battery can actually run down but normal operation should show the battery maintaining or increasing its charge.

did you measure 12 v ac? Or 12 v dc?
