I purchased the $.99 HEVC video extension to view the library without downloading but it isn't working.  Still says to download video before viewing.  Not sure if it needs to be moved, I can see the extension on the app page on my laptop.  I am not sure how to 'attach' it to my Arlo library.

The extension is for Windows itself, and the files are installed into the Windows system folder.  I just tested the extension on an old PC with no hardware acceleration, and unfortunately it didn't play the video in any browser (though the audio track did play in Chrome and Edge).

So it looks like the extension now does require hardware acceleration.  If you want to check this yourself, you can see if this sample plays in your Edge browser:

Wanted to add this to my original post:  This is what the library still says when I try to view it.          This video is not able to play in your browser. Please download to view.

You don't need to attach it.

But this extension only applies to the Edge browser - not Chrome or FireFox.  Is that what you are using?

First of all, I didn't get this response on my email.  I only logged into support and saw I had a notification which was your email.

I use arlo on both browsers, however, I thought Chrome was the desired one.  I have this extension I purchased on my apps on the pc, but it still doesn't work on Edge either.  I can view the downloaded videos, but I need to see them in the library to know if I want to download to my folder I have on my pc.  I am not sure where it was installed, I used Microsoft store people that helped me to get this purchase.
