can't access local storage internally but external works fine

After the last client update, I can no longer access videos stored on a local USB drive attached to the base station from my internal network.  I can access the locally stored videos when I am outside my network using port forwarding.  I have tried rebooting my xfinity gateway, rebooting the arlo base station and swapping out to a different usb drive.  The problem still persists.  Any recommendations?

Are you using a VPN or anything else that would make it appear that your phone is not directly connected to your home network?

No, I am not using VPN software on my iPhone.

I also tried deleting the arlo app off my phone and re-installing it and that didn't help.

If both your phone and hub are on the same network (same IP address range such as 192.168.1.xxx) it should work. Check the app permissions in the phone settings. If all fails, use the Contact Support link at the bottom here.
