everything went offline and said it wasn't communicating according to the app (the smarthub had a solid blue led), even though it had a ping response from my pc and the router said it was online. so, i went to remove it and now it says the server is taking too long to respond for the firmware update and won't let me continue, so i can add the cameras. this is really frustrating and reading the new eol terms is kind of disappointing, i hope that's not my problem.

ended up using the reset pin on the back of the smarthub and after naming it something completely different it decided to go through the update process, even though i had the latest firmware.
