I have an issue with geofencing not allowing me to select my phone in the settings. Recently restored my phone and have contacted the Arlo support to get help. I have never experienced such a slow response for any product i have ever purchased. I get trivial recommendations back like reinstalling the app and similar and it takes more than one week between the responses and now I don't even get a respons back event though I ping them in the request ticket.
The cameras are expensive and support really sucks. Select cameras from other vendors if you haven't bought Arlo yet.

You’re not missing anything in my opinion as geofencing rarely ever works with arlo products anymore.
