In the past 4+ yrs now, Haven't seen a true case of hacking on Arlo systems...
Yes, there have been stolen passwords by boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse/etc .
And, if someone knows how and has a wifi jammer there is the possibility of interrupting the camera signal tho prob not often happening.
The data stream from and to you is encrypted so it is VERY hard to crack ( nothing is impossible ) and there is NO access to the base unit itself.
I don't think it's a user issue at all... and I run 12+ cameras here

...how does Arlo cameras prevent someone from hacking into the wireless feed besides just wireless password ect, are there firewalls?
It isn't actually possible to access the hub's wifi with a password. Even the owner can't get in. So that is one less security issue to worry about.
As @TomMac says, these things are hard to penetrate.
Just another user

As a PS... I once got into a base unit, just stumbled on a pw for it ( it was a test unit )
The base will not function as a normal router anyway so it was for naught
