I have an Arlo pro 3 base with 3 cameras. I'm having some connectivity issues with my camera not being accessible quite often. I think that could be related to the reliability of my internet connection, so I was wondering if I can connect the base station to a NAS drive that supports private cloud so I can easily buffer the recordings locally and access them any time from everywhere. I was thinking of buying WD my cloud for this matter, but I am not sure if it's supported. Wondering if anybody uses Arlo pro 3 with any private cloud solution or has any other suggestions?

You can't use a NAS but you can use a USB drive on your hub to record. Since you have a VMB4540 you can use the app to view the recordings without ejecting the drive. Set up local recordings in the hub's settings.

Yes, as long as the system itself is still up. Loss of Internet isn't a problem but loss of power would be. Use a UPS for your modem, router and base/hub to keep things working.
