My question is related to Pro 3,4 security mount.
Either I'm getting more senile than I suspect or the engineer designing this "lock" may be... if you read the mount instructions its quite simple to mount, however, the problem is its very easy to walk off with your expensive camera.
The special camera housing is secured onto the mounting back plate screwed to the wall by twisting the camera mount base into the wall plate and then a small security screw is used to lock it to the back plate. The idea is to use the camera housing mount ball-joint adjustment ring to position the camera and tighten the ring to hold it in position, which is all well and good until you realize you can unscrew the ball-joint ring half of the mount all the way out and voila... the camera is out and free and only the other half of the housing mount remains secured to the wall plate!
Hopefully someone here has actually held this mount and can see what I mean, please tell me I'm missing something otherwise this is one not a "security mount.
