Can you use the Pro 3 spotlight as just motion detection for light and not record?
Thanks

I don't know for sure but I suspect it only lights up for recording. I can't test right now so maybe someone else can pitch in here. If you have a Pro 3, try a new mode with a rule that allows the camera to detect but then is set to do nothing rather than record to see if the spotlight comes on.

I do not have a 3 yet just a a few Pro's. Trying to decide if I should get some Pro 3's or some solar lights and a couple more original pros to get a few more angles of the house. I really want motion lights.

Tried it - while you can set the Pro 3 to do nothing, you have to also tell it to activate something else before you can save the rule. Is that a show-stopper?
