Hi folks,

 

There's lots of information about 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and the SmartHub on this forum, but it's scattered in bits and pieces and hard to stitch together.

 

Given that I've found channel selection to be critically important to my Pro 3 + VMB4540 deployment, and that it took me a long time to get right, I started making a YouTube video to explain to others who might run into the problems I encountered how it all works.  This led to more testing to ensure what I was saying in the video was factual, which led to more learning, which led to more technical detail that needed to be explained in the video.

 

I decided to break it up into pieces.  For anyone who might be having trouble with their Pro 3 installation, particularly those living in cities in Britain and Ireland where nice strong camera signals are hard to come by, I've just posted part 3 of the series on Youtube - link below:
