Set to record people only but the cameras record tree movements and shadows

I have selected the camers to record people only. But they record the trees movements by wind and even shadows of the tree branches as the wind blows. I get so many notifications because of this. Please assist if you can. Regards

I assume that in the smart notifications you set it to "notify" you of people only. That's what it is supposed to do. It still records every thing else. Try adjusting the sensitivity lower in the mode that you have selected. You might also try using activity zones that excludes the trees and shadows if you can. The cloud sees the trees and shadows as movement so it records it.

We have the same issue with our cameras. We purchased them last week and the "smart" notifications continually fail. We have set Arlo Smart to notify us only of People and Vehicles, yet we continue to get notifications for Animals and Motion. Arlo are correctly categorising the items are "Motion" and "Animals" but they shouldn't be notifying us of this.
I have spoken to Arlo support 3 times this week and today they have confirmed that there is an ongoing issue with Arlo Smart that started 2-3 months ago. They said that they are still working on a fix but understand if we want to return our products as they are unlikely to find a fix in the coming days or weeks.
This really is a terrible scenario and we are stuck waiting for an update before our return time expires.
Arlo - this really is not good enough for the market-leading home CCTV system.
