Receiving error "The video is not able to play in your browser" when trying to play video in Chrome

When I try to play any of my library videos in Chrome, I get the error message saying

"This video is not able to play in your browser.
Please download to view."

 

I'm using Windows 10.  My Chrome browser is version 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I have flash installed, and I've allowed flash to run for the my.arlo.com site.   Each video that I try to play gives me this message.   I have two Arlo Pro 3 cameras that I've recently purchased.  Videos from both camera have this problem. 

 

If I use the Edge browser, then all videos playback just fine with no problems in Edge.

The 2K videos from Arlo Pro 3 play back using HEVC/H.265.  Browser compatibility is mixed for streaming HEVC videos, even with Flash.  I also use Edge on Windows because it works.  Chrome cannot stream HEVC.  See this compatibility chart: https://caniuse.com/#feat=hevc (Firefox and Chrome are red and not compatible).
