I have a VMB 4500r2 base station with (2) Arlo Pro2 cameras that record for 7 days. I recently added a Pro3 camera but it won't record. Everything is functioning well and all firmware is up to date. I'm not sure what else to do.

The Pro 3 requires a subscription for cloud storage, so no free 7 day recording for that camera (FWIW, that is the case for the Pro 3/Pro 4/Ultra/Essential models).

Does your Pro 3 have a trial or paid subscription?

Someone had an old Pro3 camera they gave me. I works with my Pro2 setup. I get 1 week of recording with my system. Why does the camera type have any bearing on recording?

In addition to what StephenB had explained.

Arlo’s 7days free cloud library feature ended back in 2018 for camera models after the pro2 series.

You’re only option is to buy a subscription plan just for the pro3 camera.
