New Pro 3 user. Can’t see license plates

I was upset with my old Pro 1 cameras and their poor video quality. Pro 3 has to be much better right? Installed my cameras along with a new Arlo doorbell. I pull my car as close to the camera as I can and the license plate is blurred. You can read my shirt but not the license plate. Is Arlo intentionally blocking license plates? That’s a huge turn off for me. Any suggestions?

No Arlo isn’t blocking plate reading... it’s just that reading plates is not an easy thing to do with the video compression even tho the Pro 3 can do 2K.

That really stinks. My old Ring pro doorbell used to be able to read plates very clear. Even when zooming in. I moved the FOV down all the way and that helps a little bit but still can’t made out the plate numbers from 10 feet away. I really hope Netgear finds a solution to this. Searching around it seems a lot of people are disappointed with this.
