Hi,
Assuming I don't subscribe to the continuous video recording plan:
- Do Arlo cameras like Pro 3 and Ultra still transmit (video) data from the camera to the local network (local hub) on a constant basis? Or is data only sent from the camera every time there's an event like movements? My preference is that my network traffic is kept to the absolute minimum and data moves only when needed.
- Do the videos get stored/recorded to the local storage only when there are events or is it 24/7 recording?
Thank you.

The system is cloud-based so some data is used to be able to monitor the system. However, data is sent to the cloud for storage and for Smart post-processing. If you don't have any subs you can record locally and use the app to view the videos which would keep your data usage very low. The local recordings are like the cloud ones - it's only for motion detected events. CVR is always cloud-based.
