I bought the Arlo Pro 3 system(2 cameras, 2 wired door bells, Base Unit, Door chime, extra battery/charger and misc cords etc.) with the understanding that I would be able store and view videos locally when my trial subscription expired.
Everything worked as advertised until the Arlo Secure software update to ver 4.0.2 around December 9-10 of this year.
So, now I have cameras and doorbells that alert me to activity that I can no longer record and view in my library!
I need Arlo and/or JamesC (moderator?) to tell me when this issue will be resolved by Arlo.
The FTC is there to protect consumers from companies engaging in activities of this sort(bait and switch)!
If you do not respond I’ll assume Arlo is not intending to fix the “programming issue?” and act accordingly!
Thanks in advance for you help!
Ps. I have spent hours trying to fix a system that worked properly up until Arlo made it “better”!

Hey StephenB
I am current to firmware update of 12/17.
Did a restart and rearmed system.
Checked front and back door for motion and they both flashed white.
Checked library and I have video!😂😂😂

It should be fixed now. Check that you are running the most recent firmware for your base.
Also, try restarting it, and see if that helps.

Often restarting the base will trigger the update process.
