How do I connect my Arlo Pro 3 directly to Wifi without connecting it to a hub?

I have tried the instructions that are listed for connecting directly to Wifi but the app on Android is asking me to select a hub and won't let me add the camera without one.

The pro3 cams need the hub to connect to. The cameras do not connect to your local wifi. Do you have a hub or base?

Yea that is newer and seems the are going with the wifi option on newest cams.
