Hi,

I have the camera 2 meters from the base, no walls and not either a piece of paper in between. However I always have 7/8 second latency when I start the camera from a browser (Chrome latest version).

If I start the video from the Android app then latency lower down to 3 seconds, however very much.

Android is connected to the home wireless and the base is connected to the same access point through a cable.

If a latency should happens then I should expect the opposite, that the wireless one will have the highest latency.

IlMoro,

When using a mobile device on the same network as the cameras, your stream will be identified as a local stream. This isn't a feature of the web browser so the latency will be a little higher than when streaming locally using a mobile device.

The main problem is that 7/8 seconds are absurdly high that do not allow to interact with the other side of the camera (read as "surreal to talk" as one of the two being on the moon).

I had a D-Link and the latency was 1 second, not more.

How is it possible to have unacceptable performances with those?
