Need to know if I can charge this with a solar panel.
I know many of you have had difficulty doing this.
Does it really go offline if you are charging it?
I want to put this at the roof peak, (way out of my grasp), and need to install it and forget it.
What kind of problems am I going to have???

Yes, you can charge with the appropriate solar panel. There's no difficulty whatsoever as long as 1) the cable connection is good and 2) there are no hardware faults in either the camera or panel. No, the camera doesn't go offline as long as those 2 conditions are met which is the norm.
