Connector width

I want use the Outdoor Magnetic Charging Cable. How wide a hole must I drill thru my door frame? Do the connectors detach for that purpose so a smaller hole may be drilled?

the magnetic connector is aprox 11/16" w x 6/16"t ( usb end slightly less in thickness at 1/4 " about same W )

So the min hole would be 11/16" unless you went by the thickness and used a small wood chisel to make it rectangular

They do not detach unless you take the cable apart and reconnect ( DIY )
