I upgraded to the Pro 3. Worked fine but decided to try out the "zones" trial. I didn't notice any benefit to the zones so I let the trial expire. Now the Arlo alerts CONSTANTLY. Every few seconds on every camera. It drives me INSANE. I've now shut them all off, rendering them worthless.

I can't help but think this is payback for not buying the Zones subscription. They worked fine before the trial and are now useless.

Is there a "reset" or settings changed (I've already turned off alerts for cars and motion, just people)? Or is it time to throw these away and go with a different brand?

FYI, the smart notifications are also a subscription feature.  If the subscription has already lapsed, then you don't have the ability to turn off alerts for cars or all other motion.  All alerts are either motion alerts or audio alerts.

The subscription gives you cloud storage (so you can see what triggered the motion), activity zones, and smart notifications.  Not just "zones".

What alerts are you getting?  Online/offline? Or motion alerts?

I see. So unlike their initial models this thing is useless if you dont buy their subscription. That's a shame. I used to be a fan of this company but I'll definitely be selling these.

Depending on camera placement, you may receive frequent notifications. Did you happen to place your devices in high traffic areas? Have you tried lowering the sensitivity or placing in a different location?

Its facing my front door so the only thing it should be alerting to is ME. Still, its constant all day long. The back door faces the backdoor which I never use. Alerts ALL day long. This wasn't happening during the trial. I've listed the cameras for sale on Facebook and am replacing them as fast as I can. The subscription model is where every company now sees the most revenue growth. That's fine. What's not fine is reducing the quality of the base product rending it worthless without the subscription. I've owned several Arlo's, Arlo has used some of my footage on their social media posts, I've gifted Arlo's to my buyers and sellers and I've done several Youtube videos with affiliate links bragging about Arlo. That ends now. What a waste of nearly $400.

Thanks for the update, I'm trying to understand more about what may be causing these alerts. Are you being alerted for cars at your front door? Are there bushes/plants blowing in the wind near your door? Have you tried any trouble shooting steps (rebooting the base station or cameras)?
