I have been trying to grant access to my wife for all devices but the camera's are only visible to share and not the SmartHub....I am in the process of setting up the Video Doorbell but I am thinking of returning the doorbell if I can't get the grant access option to work. I need my wife or any other device to be able to see the video door bell. Doesn't make sense if this will only work on one phone.
Do you need a subscription to be able to grant access? Will you be able to share the Smarthub for recorded video?

That is working as designed. Grant access lets you share cameras.
If you have a subscription: your wife will be able to see the recordings for those cameras.
If you are thinking about using direct access to local storage (without a subscription): You can access local storage from your app, but your wife will not be able to do that.
