Camera is not detecting motion

Is it possible for someone else to block my cameras, or jam the signal so it doesn't record? I run into this issue whenever a certain family member visits. Camera is plugged in and CVR subscribed. Video blanks out, happens with cameras they are near only.

It is possible to jam wifi (though it is illegal).
