Is the camera connected to a solar panel? There have been reports here of rapid battery drain when that is the case.
If activity zones are in use, you might try removing them as a test. Activity zones supress recordings, but do not help battery life (because the supression is done in the Arlo cloud). Another useful test (if you haven't already done it) is to swap the camera with another one, and confirm that the issue moves with the camera.
One thing you can try is to do a factory reset of the camera. Remove it from the account, and then press the sync button inside the camera until the LED flashes amber (about 15 seconds). Then add it back to the account.

can batteries be replaced and if so where do we order from? How come I just can't call a representative to walk me through this. I can't just need the verbal communication.

I have provided a link to the store where you can purchase a replacement battery for the Pro 3 camera here: https://www.arlo.com/en-us/accessories/VMA5400-10000S.html
