Arlo Pro Wired Doorbell timeout by design?

I need my wired doorbell to not time out so I can keep track of my dogs at night while I sleep away from home. If it will not do that it is of no use to me. It is not an internet issue on either end & is the only camera I use during the night.. Is this the way it is designed?

Are you talking about live streaming, or something else?

Livestreaming will time out after a while, as will the browser.
